CCV Project Summary

September 18 to 25, 2026

Version 1 of the new ccv.org went live on Friday September 18, ahead of the gala, and it is now with your team for review. The launch announcement went to leadership with a page-by-page feedback sheet. The Narrative with Aaron Baer launched on September 16, and the Daybreak signup is on the site. On the CEN side, your team saw the school portal and the scholarship management tools demonstrated live on September 17, the email campaigns were approved on September 16, and school onboarding with dues collection was built ahead of the October 1 launch. CEN SGO social content ran on schedule, and the latest video went out on YouTube.

What we need
What we need from CCV.
5 items

The site is live and the platform launches October 1. Four things from your side this week, and one small one. Each row says what a finished answer looks like. You can mark a row complete and leave a note against it without leaving this page.

Notes and answers are saved for everyone who opens this page. Your name stays filled in on this device so you do not retype it.
Who What we need On the sheet By when Completed Notes
Aaron Baer and team A review of the live site, with every change logged in the feedback sheet that went out with the launch announcement. The sheet has one row per page and a column for your feedback, so nothing gets lost between calls. Anything logged by Thursday is fixed before Friday's update, and later items roll into the following week. Sheet sent Sep 18 By Thursday September 24
Joel McCloskey The payment account live, together with the membership dues amount, the fees and the account ID, so dues can be collected inside the platform from launch day. This is the one item standing between the tool and the October 1 launch for Ohio schools. Sandbox in place Before October 1
Joel McCloskey For the AI training and policy: the email addresses for the named ChatGPT accounts, the six high-level AI messages, and the internal do's and don'ts. The policy acknowledgement and the named-account access are set up once these are in. Agreed Sep 16 This week
Mike Andrews A list of CCV's important dates for the year: events, campaigns, legislative moments and anniversaries. It is the starting point for the content calendar, so posts are planned weeks ahead rather than on the Monday. Asked Sep 14 This week
Ryan Lephart The Daybreak source file, sent as a document rather than a link, so the daily draft learns from the material you trust. The first set arrived but the link could not be opened. First set received This week

Platform launch October 1 for Ohio schools, then the CENSchools.org network site

The scholarship platform and the network site behind it. The platform launches on October 1 with Ohio schools first, so the tool is proven at home before it opens to other states. The CENSchools.org site follows as the next priority.

            ItemOwnerWhenNotes
CEN SGO platform launch AIDM October 1 The final flows go in this week: refunds, withdrawals and updates to a school's record. Dues collection is covered under the Command Center below.
Theodore transition email campaign AIDM and CCV This week The campaign your team approved on September 16 is being published into the CRM for the CEN team to edit and send, rather than written from scratch each time.
Ohio schools invited to the new tool AIDM and CCV By September 30 A campaign inviting the roughly two hundred Ohio schools to log in to the new platform, so they are signed up before launch day. A follow-up on membership renewals goes out once dues collection is live.
School marketing kit AIDM and CCV Before October 1 The kit your team shared on September 17 goes out to the schools before launch, alongside the email campaign, so every school has the materials to explain the program to its own families from day one.
SGO training videos and guide AIDM This week Short videos and a written guide covering the school experience and the management tools, following the live demonstration your team saw on September 17.
Theodore data migration AIDM In progress The Ohio school records are loaded from Theodore. Whether Theodore is retired at launch or held through December is the open decision, and it shapes how the remaining records move.
School outreach through the CEN CRM AIDM and CCV In progress Outreach to schools runs from the CEN CRM. The calendar now shows real bookings, and every email conversation with a school sits on its record with replies in the thread.
CENSchools.org network site AIDM Late October The network site above the scholarship platform, with each state affiliate on its own subdomain. It is the next priority after the October 1 launch.
SGO state landing pages AIDM As states onboard A landing page per state as each one comes online, rather than all of them up front.

Version 1 live since September 18, in review with your team

The main CCV website. Version 1 went live on September 18, ahead of the gala. This week is about your review: the feedback sheet, the fixes coming out of it, and the pieces that were always planned to follow launch.

            ItemOwnerWhenNotes
Site review and fixes AIDM and CCV This week Your team reviews the live site page by page and logs changes in the feedback sheet. Fixes go in as they are logged, and anything received by Thursday is live before the next update.
Donation form AIDM This week The new donation form replaces the existing one, which stayed in place through the gala weekend.
Representative and voter guide lookup AIDM In progress The address lookup covers Ohio today and opens to the national database when it lands.
Issue pages AIDM and CCV In progress The FAQs on each issue page are curated from real search data now that the pages are live, rather than written up front, and the final set of twelve is being confirmed with your team.
Sites outside the main domain AIDM and CCV Decision pending The six to ten separate sites, including the Essential Summit and the pro-life pages, and the pillar sites that would sit under the main domain. Keeping them apart splits search visibility, and folding them into ccv.org strengthens the main site. Raised September 8, decision with your team.
            Command Center
            In progress
Daybreak, the communications CRM, the donor cutover and dues collection

The internal platform where the day to day work of both teams comes together, starting with the communications team, the donor data and school payments.

            ItemOwnerWhenNotes
Daybreak daily draft AIDM and CCV This week The Daybreak signup is on the site and new subscribers land in the Command Center. The priority this week is the automation behind it: it reads a set of trusted sources, suggests what matters, your editor approves, and a policy newsletter draft comes out in minutes rather than a morning. It is not daily yet, and the subscriber list is being segmented so people choose daily or weekly before any regular send starts.
Dues collection for Ohio schools AIDM and CCV October 1 School onboarding, the membership agreement gate and the dues flow are built. Collection switches on once the payment account is live, which is the item under What we need.
Comms team CRM AIDM In progress The CRM for the communications team. Website sign-ups now land here directly, and the donor list moves across from Virtuous over the coming weeks.
Donor data migration AIDM In progress Roughly forty thousand donor contacts moving across from Virtuous. The subscription is no longer on a clock, so this runs at the pace the data needs rather than against a date.
Command Center design view AIDM In progress The design layer of the platform.
Fund management migration AIDM In progress Fund management moving into the platform.
Financial reporting AIDM In progress Reporting across income, balance, aging and cash position.
Command Center training for the communications team AIDM and CCV October 22 A few hours on site with the communications team on the platform and the plan, in the week of the Essential Summit.
State compliance engine AIDM After October 1 The compliance layer for state level requirements, following the Ohio launch.
Executive dashboard AIDM After October 1 Leadership view across the organization.
Department dashboards AIDM After October 1 A view per department rather than one shared screen.
SGO admin panel AIDM After October 1 Administration for the scholarship platform.
Training and LMS AIDM After October 1 Training delivery inside the platform, with completion visible to leadership.
AI agents AIDM After October 1 Agents for specific jobs, building on what Daybreak proves.
Internal request systems and EOS integration AIDM After October 1 Internal requests and the EOS structure brought into the platform.

The paid program, the social channels and the press process

The channel work across CCV and CEN: the paid advertising program, social publishing, the podcast channels, press releases and the communications strategy. It starts small and grows as the program comes online.

            ItemOwnerWhenNotes
Paid advertising program kickoff AIDM and CCV This week The full plan is presented to your leadership for approval, covering the channels, the monthly rhythm and what each side runs. Ad accounts are set up in CCV's name with AIDM access before paid activity starts in October.
Communications review and strategy AIDM In progress A full review of how CCV communicates across its brands, leading to a strategy for the rest of the year. The important dates under What we need feed the content calendar at its center.
CEN SGO social channels AIDM Ongoing Content is running on schedule and the plan has been extended by two weeks. Posts speak to schools today and widen to families and donors as the paid program starts, moving to daily publishing alongside the ads.
The Narrative channels AIDM and CCV This week The show runs under one handle across Instagram, Spotify, Apple and YouTube. The Instagram and Spotify accounts come across from your team this week.
Press releases AIDM and CCV This week The first release goes out through the new process this week: your team sends the material, AIDM prepares and distributes it. Each release after that follows the same path.
YouTube cleanup AIDM In progress A plan to organize the CCV channel so the key videos are findable alongside The Narrative episodes, with the unlisted video made public. Your team runs the changes from the plan.
CCV social channels AIDM and CCV Ongoing Your social team keeps the day to day, anchored by a weekly calendar sync with AIDM.

Sep 18th Version 1 of the new ccv.org went live ahead of the gala, with the launch announcement and a page-by-page feedback sheet sent to leadership the same day.
Sep 18th Site pages in version 1: About, Our story, Team, Careers, Accountability and Impact rebuilt, and Volunteer, Testify, For Buckeyes and Scholarships added. Every bill has its own page rather than a shared template.
Sep 18th The newsroom runs on CCV's own published posts, so press releases, analysis and coverage match what has been published, with a testimony release page built from one of them. Daybreak has its own page, and the Daybreak signup feeds the Command Center.
Sep 18th The Hope and a Future report built, including the seven tour stops.
Sep 18th All twelve issue films on the site, with Election Integrity the last to go in.
Sep 18th The Narrative organized by season on the site, newest episode first, and the team page updated with the September headshots and current titles.
Sep 18th The warm palette set as the site default, the events section and the mobile menu rebuilt, side-scrolling rails added on mobile, and the footer turned into a full sitemap.
Sep 18th A batch of broken links repaired, including five bill pages and the Contact your lawmaker buttons across thirteen pages.
Sep 18th School onboarding, the membership agreement gate and the dues flow built in the scholarship management tools, with applications able to span schools.
Sep 18th The CEN CRM calendar now shows real bookings from the connected calendar.
Sep 18th CEN SGO social content published on schedule, the latest video out on YouTube, and the content plan extended by two weeks.
Sep 17th School portal and scholarship management tools demonstrated live to the CEN team, including creating a school account and paying its dues, as the second training session.
Sep 17th The existing CEN marketing kit received from your team, including the member services brochure and the current membership manual.
Sep 16th The Narrative with Aaron Baer launched.
Sep 16th The CEN SGO email campaign document approved by your team.
Sep 11th Homepage video links for School Planting, the SAFE Act and Biblical Worldview received, along with the new Narrative logo files.
Sep 11th Full page-by-page walkthrough of the ccv.org prototype held with your team, covering the homepage, the issue pages, the Ohio content, Daybreak and the Narrative. Decisions taken on the call: the events page stays a single clean page rather than a dropdown, publications separate national products from Ohio advocacy, and the homepage opens on an About link and a static leadership image rather than the older Ohio video.
Sep 11th Team bios and the financial information received, which closes the content and asset list that had been running since August.
Sep 11th New staff photography received and filed against the pages that need it.
Sep 10th Podcast naming settled: The Narrative with Aaron Baer as the national show, Broad Street as the Ohio show.
Sep 9th Asset handover simplified to direct folder links rather than full drive searches, after which the outstanding material arrived within two days.
Sep 8th Website consolidation reviewed across the separate pop-up sites, with the search impact of keeping them apart set out for a decision.
Sep 5th The email side of the CEN CRM finished: branded email to a single school contact from inside the tool, a rebuilt composer with a true preview, inbound replies captured and attached to the right school automatically, and a full conversation history per school with replies in thread.
Sep 5th Real school staff records loaded into the CRM with names, titles and role categories, editable people lists that target by priority and role, and audiences that leave out schools with no working email address.
Sep 5th Opportunities tied to real school records with editable close dates, and a video module added to the campaign editor.
Sep 5th The SGO platform foundation laid: the shared database, the schema and the migrations behind it, with the school administrator portal rebuilt on top of it. The live CRM and the sandbox were left untouched while that happened.
Sep 5th Around forty-five further CCV.org pages designed.
Sep 5th The CCV.org WordPress build set up with the header, the footer and the eight core pages, and eleven Search Console issues fixed.
Sep 3rd The CEN SGO email campaign content confirmed on your side as matching the CCV and CEN voice, and passed to your communications team for final sign-off.
Sep 2nd SGO CRM training, session one, run with your CEN SGO team. Email campaigns end to end, bounce handling, sender authorization, and priority filtering to the top five contacts at each school, all demonstrated live in the tool rather than on slides.
Sep 1st CEN SGO week three social content published, along with the second YouTube video.
Sep 1st Training access for a new CCV employee set up the same day it was asked for, with ccv.org sign-ups now attaching to the training portal automatically.
Sep 1st Gemini training modules one to five live on the training platform.
Aug 29th The CEN SGO email system finished and went live: verified sending, multi-step campaign sequences, the school contact list loaded with names, titles, emails and phones, and sends capped at the top five contacts per school at the request of your School Partnership Director so no school is over-contacted.
Aug 29th The CEN SGO social accounts renamed from CEN SGO ORG to CEN SGO across all five channels, so the handles match the brand.
Aug 14th The clickable prototype walked through with your team, with every page navigable as a working site. Two decisions came out of it, the move to national positioning and the reworked color palette, and both are now in the build.
Aug 29th The CCV.org prototype rebuilt on CCV's own live content in place of placeholder copy. Seventy-six pages, covering the twelve issue pages, twenty-four article pages, the newsroom, and a careers board driven by your live job listings.
Aug 29th Nine pastor testimonials placed on the What Churches Can Do page, which closes a content gap that had been open since kickoff.
Aug 28th The Theodore school records pulled in full, so the SGO platform build starts from complete data rather than a partial extract.
Aug 27th The CCV.org content and asset list built as a working sheet, 87 rows across 18 sections, each one naming who answers it, what a finished answer looks like, and what the design does if nothing arrives.
Aug 26th Every headline claim on the site checked against CCV's own 2025 Impact Report, so the figures that go national are sourced. Two unsourced claims were identified and held back rather than published.
Aug 25th The update itself became writable. Items can be marked complete and notes left against them, and the first set of answers came back the same day.
Aug 24th The Theodore data download is in hand, so the migration can pull the full history in one pass rather than in parts.
Aug 24th The demo-submission tracker is live, showing who was sent a sandbox link, whether they logged in and how often, so CEN sales follow-up runs off real activity.
Aug 24th Super admin access to the CCV company LinkedIn page granted, closing the last CCV channel with no access.
Aug 24th All CEN SGO social access is now in place across every channel, covering LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Aug 21st The CCV.org SEO baseline is complete, covering the three months to August as the measurement point the rebuild will be judged against.
Aug 21st CEN SGO search work: Google indexing issues fixed, the states page schema updated, SERP data refreshed, and six Search Console issues cleared.
Aug 17th The first week of CEN SGO content published across five channels, with the banners updated on each.
Aug 15th The booking page is embedded on the CEN SGO site, so school administrators can book directly from it.
Aug 17th Facebook and Instagram access confirmed for CEN SGO and the banners updated.
Aug 17th A Reddit account created and set up for CEN SGO.
Aug 15th The CEN logo now shows correctly on outgoing emails.
Aug 14th The enhanced school contact list went across to your team, naming leadership at each school with title, email and phone, then updated the same day with full location details so it can be filtered by state, city and zip.
Aug 14th The school data agent reached 54,191 verified email addresses across 14,850 schools, with 97 percent carrying a phone number and 82 percent a website. That week's run alone added 1,960 addresses, gave 237 schools their first email, and recovered 320 schools whose sites had previously failed to load.
Aug 14th The CRM automations were updated and presented to your team, and staff notifications were tested end to end so the team is alerted to every new inquiry, configurable in the CEN CRM.
Aug 14th Automated front-end testing was set up for the CEN CRM, with internal testers excluded from the sandbox report counts so the funnel reflects real school activity.
Aug 14th Sign-up records were cleaned up and protection against automated submissions was reinforced across every form on the site.
Aug 14th Six new state pages were given SEO titles, meta descriptions and schema, then indexed with Google so they appear in search results.
Aug 14th The state map section was updated and the refreshed walkthrough video added to the site.
Aug 14th Form confirmation emails moved off WordPress and into the CEN CRM, so confirmations and the records behind them stay in one place.
Aug 14th Outstanding Google Search Console issues were resolved.
Aug 13th The CCV.org prototype was built with every page clickable, so the structure can be reviewed as a working site. The homepage and About page are polished to the final design direction.
Aug 15th CEN SGO portal copy edits and date format corrections were applied.
Aug 8th The CRM's reporting was rebuilt for accuracy: signup and trial tracking now reconciles correctly, several display bugs were fixed so the numbers on screen match reality, and the reports view was reorganized for clarity.
Aug 8th Outreach sending permissions and real drip campaigns went live in the CEN CRM: multi-step email sequences with scheduled delays, a clearer sequence editor, and a live preview of what recipients see before a campaign sends.
Aug 8th A "ready to subscribe" option added to the SGO sandbox, so schools reaching the end of their trial window can move straight to signing up.
Aug 8th Six new state pages published on the CEN SGO website, with updated state maps across the site, a refreshed State archive page, and a six-month SEO plan now in place.
Jul 31st The CEN CRM is live in production on the data center CCV selected: the environment is finished, all data is migrated, and an automated deploy pipeline is in place so updates ship safely.
Jul 31st The CEN SGO sandbox is activated and connected to the CEN CRM. Schools now sign themselves up, the evaluation window runs seven days from first login, and signups, activations, and expirations all report into the CRM.
Jul 31st The CEN CRM sales pipeline refreshed with the agreed features: AI lead summaries, due dates with an overdue filter, contacts grouped by school with manual add and remove, and phone added as a lead source.
Jul 31st CEN CRM opportunities rebuilt end to end, covering creating and editing, bulk actions, meetings, values and owner, and per-campaign reports, with a shared filter bar, real close dates, and due and overdue tracking.
Jul 31st The CRM reports page rebuilt around the trial funnel, with lifecycle stages, cohort tables, and a data-health view, plus fixes to signup dates and duplicate counts so the numbers reconcile.
Jul 31st The sandbox walkthrough and the CEN CRM prototype both shared with CEN leadership for review.
Jul 31st School leadership data reconciled, with named leadership contacts now held on around 2,000 schools in the CEN CRM.
Jul 31st The CCV Command Center v1 prototype designed, covering navigation, screens, and module content, with the supporting technical documentation reviewed.
Jul 31st Fund management working session delivered with your finance team, confirming the fund management process and the weekly reconciliation approach.
Jul 31st The CEN and SGO videos updated with the requested changes, and a launch and content plan produced for CEN SGO.
Jul 31st The sandbox trial window changed from seven working days to seven calendar days, and users who ask for continued access after it closes are now passed through to the CEN CRM for follow-up.
Jul 25th CEN CRM webhook updated to new API endpoints with expiry triggers, and new signups plus existing user data now flow from the sandbox through to the CEN CRM.
Jul 24th About 2,000 head-of-school leadership contacts loaded into the CEN CRM with name, title, phone, and role, mapped to their school accounts and ready for outreach.
Jul 24th The CCV.org rebuild search baseline completed: a full crawl of 1,100-plus URLs with titles, meta, and headings, twelve months of Search Console and Analytics data, the money pages marked, 1,300-plus referring domains gathered, the current link and header and footer structure mapped, a redirect map off the current site, and the sitemap exported.
Jul 24th CEN SGO search indexing: cached content cleared from Google, 20-plus links indexed across pages, resources, and state pages, Search Console issues fixed, and indexing requested for the rest.
Jul 23rd The CCV.org wireframes delivered to CCV leadership for review: 21 pages across all page types, viewable on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Jul 22nd The CEN CRM sales pipeline prototype reviewed with your team and the feature set agreed, covering the calendar-to-CRM flow, the opportunity pipeline, contact management, and campaign reporting.
Jul 17th CEN SGO site search visibility: titles and meta descriptions across the whole site, structured data generated for every page and post and validated with Google's testing tool, automatic structured-data generation for resources and blog posts as they are added, and alt text on every image.
Jul 17th The CEN SGO site and sitemap submitted to Google Search Console for indexing, and Google Analytics 4 connected, so traffic and search performance are measurable from here.
Jul 17th Sandbox access controls: the sandbox now closes external trial access automatically, with CCV and AIDM domains excluded so the internal team keeps standing access, and passes expired contacts through to the CEN CRM for follow-up.
Jul 17th CEN CRM reporting and outreach tools: sandbox signup and usage data now flows into the CEN CRM, the reports page brings four views into one place (overview, SGO health, campaigns, and expired logins), the team is alerted when a new lead comes in through the site, campaign contact filtering was added so outreach reaches the right roles at each school, and the schools database was enriched with head-of-school contacts to support the calls.
Jul 17th The new School Partnership Director added across the CEN SGO website with his own booking page, a separate donor signup form added, form routing to the CEN CRM updated, and team LinkedIn profiles brought in line.
Jul 17th The info@censgo.org inbox confirmed as a full mailbox, with access arranged for the CEN team member who will monitor it.
Jul 17th CCV.org information architecture: Phase 0 of the redesign checklist worked through, the information architecture site built out with the changes agreed in the client meetings, all references and documentation cross-checked, and the current CCV website re-crawled to confirm it lines up with the information architecture as it stands.
Jul 16th Five of the six outstanding CCV.org redesign decisions answered by the client: the launch target confirmed, ownership of the daily newsletter settled, the Issues section carried into a follow-up discussion, and Vote for Ohio confirmed as a rename of the existing ballot site rather than a new build.

All gathered into a single research record.
Jul 11th Email marketing automation build complete: a visual editor, a shared template library, and automatic routing of website form submissions to the donor, school, and general teams. Technical issues resolved before go-live and a testing environment stood up on the data center CCV selected.
Jul 11th CEN SGO site improvements: search-optimized titles and meta across the site, sitemap indexing fixes, mobile layout fixes on the Schools, Donors, and Applicants pages, the walkthrough video replaced with a new design and a video pop-up, and font and footer fixes.
Jul 3rd Email marketing system built: a verified sending domain, automated sequences that trigger from website forms, dedicated donor, school, and applicant sender addresses, a shared email builder and template library, and audience segmentation.
Jul 3rd Website forms connected to the CEN CRM, so submissions from the site flow straight through, sorted into donor, school, and applicant groups for campaigns.
Jun 26th CEN CRM live in production at crm.censgo.org with secure hosting and the core features: schools and contacts database, call tracking, groups and segments, the campaign builder, and Google sign-in.
