CCV Project Summary

September 7 to 11, 2026

Formal training on the SGO tool started on September 2 with your CEN SGO team in the room, covering the email campaigns end to end, and the second session on September 15 takes in the sales pipeline and the calendar. The email side of the CEN CRM is finished: branded email to a school contact from inside the tool, replies captured against the right school, and a full conversation history per school. The CCV.org relaunch now sits in the third week of September, with the WordPress build, the page designs and the remaining content all running against it. The second pass of the content and asset list went onto the sheet on September 5, and the rows that matter most are called out below.

What we need
What we need from CCV.
One section each. Twelve rows answered so far, and a second pass added thirty-three more on September 5.
4 items

Everything the CCV.org build still needs is in one sheet. It is split into four sections, one for each of you. Open it, filter the "Who answers" column to your name, and you will see only your rows. Each row says what a finished answer looks like. Twelve rows are answered so far. A second pass went onto the sheet on September 5 adding thirty-three more, none of them repeats of the first list.

Who What we need On the sheet By when Completed Notes
Aaron Baer The writing and the sign-offs. Twelve rows are answered, including the vision line, the president's letter and the full copy for all twelve issue pages. The Our Story timeline, the laws-passed list and the Daybreak topics are the ones the build is still waiting on. Two of the new rows are the priority: the Cleveland event on September 18 is missing from the events page, and the issue pages need your counsel to confirm what can be said about named lawmakers and their votes. 12 answered, 33 new rows Third week of Sep
Ryan Lephart Images and files. Nine rows are closed from your own brand drive. The white version of the logo, the events calendar and the podcast cover art are the ones holding up pages. The August 31 review added three more: ten to twelve best-of photos with the original high resolution files, the full team roster with names and titles for the new team photos, and the award badges for the footer. 25 open, 9 closed Third week of Sep
Mike Andrews Video links and account access. Fifteen YouTube links and the Facebook page access. Nothing has arrived yet, and the links gate the twelve issue pages and the three videos on the homepage. 16 open Third week of Sep
Joel McCloskey A few finance answers. The payment processor is settled, and the board roster was decided as not going on the site. Six are open: whether the Form 990s publish on ccv.org, the auditor's report, the expense split, and the wording for each way to give. 6 open Third week of Sep

Prototype built, WordPress build to the September relaunch

The main CCV website. The prototype is built with every page clickable, so the structure and design direction can be reviewed as a working site. The full rebuild runs to the relaunch in the third week of September.

          Item Owner When Notes
Issues section as a resource hub AIDM and CCV In progress Confirmed on July 20: the Issues section stays and is reframed as a resource hub, modeled on the FSI page. It carries what CCV does, what it believes, and citable resources such as data points and graphs, which is the kind of material news agencies and AI tools already pull from pages like it. The written copy for all twelve issues arrived on August 29 and the pages are being built from it. Two changes from the August 31 review are being applied in the same pass: Personal Virtue takes the place of Public Safety in the set of twelve, and the FAQs stay on the pages but sit lower and get curated from real search data after launch rather than written up front.
CCV.org rebuild AIDM Third week of Sep The full rebuild. Seventy-six pages run on CCV’s own live content, with the national positioning and the reworked palette from your August review carried through, and roughly forty-five further pages were designed this week. The WordPress build is now set up with the header, the footer and the eight core pages behind it. The relaunch moves into the third week of September so the copy and the assets still coming back on the content sheet land in the site rather than after it.
Content archive in the restructure AIDM Third week of Sep Nothing is deleted in the restructure. Older content is archived rather than removed, stays searchable, and remains findable through the footer, while current content moves front and center.
Pillar microsites AIDM With the CCV relaunch Dedicated sites for the three ministries alongside ccv.org: the Church Ambassador Network, the Christian Education Network and the Christian Business Partnership.
CCV social automation AIDM September Starter content and scheduling automation for the CCV.org channels, timed to follow the relaunch so the new site is what the posts point at.
Brand-family social automation AIDM From September Scheduling and automation across the CCV family of brands and their channels.

Platform build, team training under way, Theodore migration running

The CEN SGO platform, the sandbox and the CEN CRM behind them, all on censgo.org. Training with your team started on September 2, the Theodore migration is running, and the platform build runs to the October 1 launch.

          Item Owner When Notes
SGO platform build AIDM In progress Build underway on the accepted design, on track to be operational October 1. The platform foundation is in place this week, meaning the shared database, the schema and the migrations behind it, and the school administrator portal has been rebuilt on top of it. The live CRM and the sandbox were deliberately left untouched while that happened.
Theodore data migration AIDM and CCV In progress The full school history is pulled from Theodore, so the 213 Ohio school records are complete and ready to load onto the new SGO platform. That closes the client-side dependency and means the migration runs in one pass rather than in parts. The records load onto the new tool over the next two weeks, and your state compliance lead is walked through it with the OSIN schools in mid-September so renewals and onboarding run from the new platform rather than Theodore. That puts the tool in her hands about two weeks before the October 1 launch. Validation follows through Q4, before Theodore is retired ahead of its December 2026 contract end.
CEN SGO site copy refinements AIDM In review A full set of edits across sixteen Resources pages arrived on August 21 and is being worked through now. It covers the move to CEN SGO member schools, the join CEN SGO call to action, the opted-in state requirement on every scholarship section, what membership includes, and the removal of cap and year-end giving language. The Education Freedom Tax Credit naming is being applied in the same pass.
SGO email template branding AIDM In progress The CEN mark was appearing on some of the SGO email templates instead of the SGO branding. It was raised on the September 2 training session and the template set is being corrected so every send carries the right brand.
School outreach through the CEN CRM AIDM and CCV In progress The School Partnership Director is the primary booking contact for school administrators, is linked into the CEN CRM and is running outreach with the earlier restrictions removed. Outreach now runs inside the tool: branded email to a named school contact, replies captured against the right school automatically, and the full conversation history per school in one place. A phone outreach tool he is comfortable with is being evaluated to connect into the CEN CRM.
School profile completion URL AIDM In progress A completion URL for the schools carried over from Theodore, so their profiles can be finished ahead of the renewal season. Being built as part of the new platform.
Tax credit calculator AIDM In progress Settled on your side: the calculator comes off the website, and it is now off the live site. The CEN SGO team judged it too confusing for a visitor who does not know which state rules apply to them, and we agree. The math and the FAQ beneath it are being corrected in the meantime so the federal cap and the interaction with the state credit read correctly, and that work is kept. Whether a version returns later inside the donor platform, where we already know who the donor is and which state they are in, is a separate question and not part of the October 1 launch.
CEN Ohio affiliate program retirement AIDM Before Sep 10 CEN’s Ohio-based affiliate program, 213 schools on Theodore, retires alongside the Virtuous cancellation. A transfer and training campaign moves those schools onto the CEN CRM, timed as a renewal moment.
CEN SGO team training, session two AIDM and CCV Sep 15 Session one ran on September 2 and covered the email campaigns end to end. Session two on September 15 takes in the sales pipeline, the opportunities view and the calendar, and includes a live test of an email campaign on the call. Sessions continue every other week as new modules arrive, so each one has time to land before the next.
School marketing kit AIDM September A ready kit for each school: profile, branding, flyers, social posts, standard emails, and guides to promote the scholarship program to families.
CEN SGO campaign sending AIDM and CCV With your team The system is built, verified and configured, and the school contact list is loaded behind it. Two admins were nominated on the training call and we need that confirmed. The one thing still outstanding on your side is the campaign content, and once it comes back we load it in so the sequences are ready for your team to send.
CEN CRM feature testing AIDM With your team The agreed features from the sales-process document are built and in place: AI lead summaries, due dates with an overdue filter, contacts grouped by school with manual add and remove, and phone as a lead source. Opportunities are now tied to real school records with editable close dates. The build is complete on our side and it sits with your team to test and tell us anything that is missing.
SGO state landing pages AIDM As states onboard A branded landing page for every state, including the states that have not opted in, so the map is complete from day one and the states still to join have somewhere to send people.
          christianednetwork.org (CEN)
          Starting
          Parent site wireframe under way

The Christian Education Network parent site, separate from the SGO platform on censgo.org. This is the third of the three websites and it is at the wireframe stage.

          Item Owner When Notes
CEN parent site wireframe AIDM In progress The wireframe for the Christian Education Network parent site, the third of the three websites. First feedback is in and being worked through before the design stage. The wireframes follow the week after the CCV.org relaunch, putting the site itself at the beginning of October.
CEN social channels AIDM September Agreed that CEN keeps its own channels rather than folding into CEN SGO, so the two audiences stay separate and the SGO search term keeps its own ground. Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube are created in September, sharing the CEN compass mark with a CEN title line, and the logins come across to your team once they exist.
Affiliate domain structure AIDM and CCV Awaiting your decision A proposed structure for the state affiliates went over on September 3: one national domain for the school network, a folder per state underneath it, and separate promotional domains per state forwarding in. We are awaiting your decision on it. It is worth settling now rather than later, because the structure sets the URLs, and moving them after launch costs search ranking.
          CCV Command Center
          In progress
Comms team CRM build and the donor data cutover

The Command Center is where we build the tools and automations the CCV team runs the organization from. What is starting now is the automations the CCV.org website needs, beginning with Daybreak, a CRM for the full communications team to replace Virtuous, and the marketing module alongside it. The modules that follow the October launch are listed underneath, in the order they are planned.

          Item Owner When Notes
Comms team CRM AIDM In progress The full CRM for the CCV communications team, replacing Virtuous before its subscription ends. The prototype build is under way and the target is the comms team fully onboarded ahead of the Virtuous end date. The cloud-hosted CEN CRM rolls into this.
Daybreak automation AIDM In progress The automation behind the daily email. It gathers the stories each morning, drafts the email, and hands it to your comms team to choose from and approve before it reaches subscribers. The source list is now settled: a trusted set that goes straight to your comms manager, and a wider local and regional set that needs a second source before it reaches her. It starts with a small number of sources and grows from there. A preview with your comms team is targeted for around September 21, the first editions are put together by hand at site launch, and it is handed over to your team within the first month.
Command Center design view AIDM In progress The v1 prototype is designed, covering navigation, screens, and module content, with the supporting technical documentation reviewed. It starts with the comms team CRM and adds modules, features, and team access as each product is built.
Fund management migration AIDM and CCV In progress The working session with your finance team is delivered, and the fund management process and the weekly reconciliation approach are both confirmed.
Financial reporting AIDM In progress Two things to settle before the build: day-to-day visibility for your finance leadership in the donor dashboard, and confirmation of which financial reports must keep running after the Virtuous cutover.
Donor data migration AIDM and CCV Before Sep 10 Migrating roughly 40,000 donor contacts out of Virtuous, CCV’s donor CRM and separate from the CEN CRM, with cleanup underway since less than half are estimated active. The cutover works against the Virtuous subscription ending in September. The build sequence depends on the fund management questions being confirmed first.
State compliance engine AIDM Sep 30 Automated compliance tracking and reporting across twenty-plus states, with audit-trail management. Phase 3 is the September milestone.
Executive dashboard AIDM After Oct 1 Leadership KPIs across every pillar and department, board reporting exports, donation tracking and growth metrics.
Department dashboards AIDM After Oct 1 A dashboard per department with its own KPIs and automated workflows, covering CEN SGO, CAN, CBP, Policy, Pro-Life, Communications, Advancement, Operations and Facilities.
SGO admin panel AIDM After Oct 1 Application processing, scholarship scoring, disbursement management and program configuration.
Training and LMS AIDM After Oct 1 Onboarding portal, training videos with completion tracking, and a document library.
AI agents AIDM After Oct 1 An executive assistant agent, department agents and an AI blog content tool.
Internal request systems AIDM After Oct 1 Maintenance, IT support and workflow ticketing in one place.
EOS integration AIDM After Oct 1 Connecting the EOS you already use, meaning rocks, goals and weekly snapshots, into the dashboard so the leadership rhythm runs from the same place as everything else. It is an integration with your existing system rather than a new one, and it sits last in the Command Center integration order, after CEN SGO and the affiliate and partnership work.
Marketing module AIDM Planned Campaign management and the reporting behind it, so marketing runs from the same place as the comms team CRM rather than alongside it.

Sep 5th The email side of the CEN CRM finished: branded email to a single school contact from inside the tool, a rebuilt composer with a true preview, inbound replies captured and attached to the right school automatically, and a full conversation history per school with replies in thread.
Sep 5th Real school staff records loaded into the CRM with names, titles and role categories, editable people lists that target by priority and role, and audiences that leave out schools with no working email address.
Sep 5th Opportunities tied to real school records with editable close dates, and a video module added to the campaign editor.
Sep 5th The SGO platform foundation laid: the shared database, the schema and the migrations behind it, with the school administrator portal rebuilt on top of it. The live CRM and the sandbox were left untouched while that happened.
Sep 5th Around forty-five further CCV.org pages designed.
Sep 5th The CCV.org WordPress build set up with the header, the footer and the eight core pages, and eleven Search Console issues fixed.
Sep 3rd The CEN SGO email campaign content confirmed on your side as matching the CCV and CEN voice, and passed to your communications team for final sign-off.
Sep 2nd SGO CRM training, session one, run with your CEN SGO team. Email campaigns end to end, bounce handling, sender authorization, and priority filtering to the top five contacts at each school, all demonstrated live in the tool rather than on slides.
Sep 1st CEN SGO week three social content published, along with the second YouTube video.
Sep 1st Training access for a new CCV employee set up the same day it was asked for, with ccv.org sign-ups now attaching to the training portal automatically.
Sep 1st Gemini training modules one to five live on the training platform.
Aug 29th The CEN SGO email system finished and went live: verified sending, multi-step campaign sequences, the school contact list loaded with names, titles, emails and phones, and sends capped at the top five contacts per school at the request of your School Partnership Director so no school is over-contacted.
Aug 29th The CEN SGO social accounts renamed from CEN SGO ORG to CEN SGO across all five channels, so the handles match the brand.
Aug 14th The clickable prototype walked through with your team, with every page navigable as a working site. Two decisions came out of it, the move to national positioning and the reworked color palette, and both are now in the build.
Aug 29th The CCV.org prototype rebuilt on CCV's own live content in place of placeholder copy. Seventy-six pages, covering the twelve issue pages, twenty-four article pages, the newsroom, and a careers board driven by your live job listings.
Aug 29th Nine pastor testimonials placed on the What Churches Can Do page, which closes a content gap that had been open since kickoff.
Aug 28th The Theodore school records pulled in full, so the SGO platform build starts from complete data rather than a partial extract.
Aug 27th The CCV.org content and asset list built as a working sheet, 87 rows across 18 sections, each one naming who answers it, what a finished answer looks like, and what the design does if nothing arrives.
Aug 26th Every headline claim on the site checked against CCV's own 2025 Impact Report, so the figures that go national are sourced. Two unsourced claims were identified and held back rather than published.
Aug 25th The update itself became writable. Items can be marked complete and notes left against them, and the first set of answers came back the same day.
Aug 24th The Theodore data download is in hand, so the migration can pull the full history in one pass rather than in parts.
Aug 24th The demo-submission tracker is live, showing who was sent a sandbox link, whether they logged in and how often, so CEN sales follow-up runs off real activity.
Aug 24th Super admin access to the CCV company LinkedIn page granted, closing the last CCV channel with no access.
Aug 24th All CEN SGO social access is now in place across every channel, covering LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Aug 21st The CCV.org SEO baseline is complete, covering the three months to August as the measurement point the rebuild will be judged against.
Aug 21st CEN SGO search work: Google indexing issues fixed, the states page schema updated, SERP data refreshed, and six Search Console issues cleared.
Aug 17th The first week of CEN SGO content published across five channels, with the banners updated on each.
Aug 15th The booking page is embedded on the CEN SGO site, so school administrators can book directly from it.
Aug 17th Facebook and Instagram access confirmed for CEN SGO and the banners updated.
Aug 17th A Reddit account created and set up for CEN SGO.
Aug 15th The CEN logo now shows correctly on outgoing emails.
Aug 14th The enhanced school contact list went across to your team, naming leadership at each school with title, email and phone, then updated the same day with full location details so it can be filtered by state, city and zip.
Aug 14th The school data agent reached 54,191 verified email addresses across 14,850 schools, with 97 percent carrying a phone number and 82 percent a website. That week's run alone added 1,960 addresses, gave 237 schools their first email, and recovered 320 schools whose sites had previously failed to load.
Aug 14th The CRM automations were updated and presented to your team, and staff notifications were tested end to end so the team is alerted to every new inquiry, configurable in the CEN CRM.
Aug 14th Automated front-end testing was set up for the CEN CRM, with internal testers excluded from the sandbox report counts so the funnel reflects real school activity.
Aug 14th Sign-up records were cleaned up and protection against automated submissions was reinforced across every form on the site.
Aug 14th Six new state pages were given SEO titles, meta descriptions and schema, then indexed with Google so they appear in search results.
Aug 14th The state map section was updated and the refreshed walkthrough video added to the site.
Aug 14th Form confirmation emails moved off WordPress and into the CEN CRM, so confirmations and the records behind them stay in one place.
Aug 14th Outstanding Google Search Console issues were resolved.
Aug 13th The CCV.org prototype was built with every page clickable, so the structure can be reviewed as a working site. The homepage and About page are polished to the final design direction.
Aug 15th CEN SGO portal copy edits and date format corrections were applied.
Aug 8th The CRM's reporting was rebuilt for accuracy: signup and trial tracking now reconciles correctly, several display bugs were fixed so the numbers on screen match reality, and the reports view was reorganized for clarity.
Aug 8th Outreach sending permissions and real drip campaigns went live in the CEN CRM: multi-step email sequences with scheduled delays, a clearer sequence editor, and a live preview of what recipients see before a campaign sends.
Aug 8th A "ready to subscribe" option added to the SGO sandbox, so schools reaching the end of their trial window can move straight to signing up.
Aug 8th Six new state pages published on the CEN SGO website, with updated state maps across the site, a refreshed State archive page, and a six-month SEO plan now in place.
Jul 31st The CEN CRM is live in production on the data center CCV selected: the environment is finished, all data is migrated, and an automated deploy pipeline is in place so updates ship safely.
Jul 31st The CEN SGO sandbox is activated and connected to the CEN CRM. Schools now sign themselves up, the evaluation window runs seven days from first login, and signups, activations, and expirations all report into the CRM.
Jul 31st The CEN CRM sales pipeline refreshed with the agreed features: AI lead summaries, due dates with an overdue filter, contacts grouped by school with manual add and remove, and phone added as a lead source.
Jul 31st CEN CRM opportunities rebuilt end to end, covering creating and editing, bulk actions, meetings, values and owner, and per-campaign reports, with a shared filter bar, real close dates, and due and overdue tracking.
Jul 31st The CRM reports page rebuilt around the trial funnel, with lifecycle stages, cohort tables, and a data-health view, plus fixes to signup dates and duplicate counts so the numbers reconcile.
Jul 31st The sandbox walkthrough and the CEN CRM prototype both shared with CEN leadership for review.
Jul 31st School leadership data reconciled, with named leadership contacts now held on around 2,000 schools in the CEN CRM.
Jul 31st The CCV Command Center v1 prototype designed, covering navigation, screens, and module content, with the supporting technical documentation reviewed.
Jul 31st Fund management working session delivered with your finance team, confirming the fund management process and the weekly reconciliation approach.
Jul 31st The CEN and SGO videos updated with the requested changes, and a launch and content plan produced for CEN SGO.
Jul 31st The sandbox trial window changed from seven working days to seven calendar days, and users who ask for continued access after it closes are now passed through to the CEN CRM for follow-up.
Jul 25th CEN CRM webhook updated to new API endpoints with expiry triggers, and new signups plus existing user data now flow from the sandbox through to the CEN CRM.
Jul 24th About 2,000 head-of-school leadership contacts loaded into the CEN CRM with name, title, phone, and role, mapped to their school accounts and ready for outreach.
Jul 24th The CCV.org rebuild search baseline completed: a full crawl of 1,100-plus URLs with titles, meta, and headings, twelve months of Search Console and Analytics data, the money pages marked, 1,300-plus referring domains gathered, the current link and header and footer structure mapped, a redirect map off the current site, and the sitemap exported.
Jul 24th CEN SGO search indexing: cached content cleared from Google, 20-plus links indexed across pages, resources, and state pages, Search Console issues fixed, and indexing requested for the rest.
Jul 23rd The CCV.org wireframes delivered to CCV leadership for review: 21 pages across all page types, viewable on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Jul 22nd The CEN CRM sales pipeline prototype reviewed with your team and the feature set agreed, covering the calendar-to-CRM flow, the opportunity pipeline, contact management, and campaign reporting.
Jul 17th CEN SGO site search visibility: titles and meta descriptions across the whole site, structured data generated for every page and post and validated with Google's testing tool, automatic structured-data generation for resources and blog posts as they are added, and alt text on every image.
Jul 17th The CEN SGO site and sitemap submitted to Google Search Console for indexing, and Google Analytics 4 connected, so traffic and search performance are measurable from here.
Jul 17th Sandbox access controls: the sandbox now closes external trial access automatically, with CCV and AIDM domains excluded so the internal team keeps standing access, and passes expired contacts through to the CEN CRM for follow-up.
Jul 17th CEN CRM reporting and outreach tools: sandbox signup and usage data now flows into the CEN CRM, the reports page brings four views into one place (overview, SGO health, campaigns, and expired logins), the team is alerted when a new lead comes in through the site, campaign contact filtering was added so outreach reaches the right roles at each school, and the schools database was enriched with head-of-school contacts to support the calls.
Jul 17th The new School Partnership Director added across the CEN SGO website with his own booking page, a separate donor signup form added, form routing to the CEN CRM updated, and team LinkedIn profiles brought in line.
Jul 17th The info@censgo.org inbox confirmed as a full mailbox, with access arranged for the CEN team member who will monitor it.
